This Indian Standared (Part 2) which is identical with ISO 2598-2 : 1992 'Iron ores - Determination of silicon content - Part 2: Reduced molybdosilicat spectrophotometric method' issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the reommentation of the Ores and Raw Materials Sectional Committee and approval of the Metalluragical Engineering Division Council.
