1 Scope

1.1 This standard (Part 3) prescribes the atomic absorptionspectrophotometric method for determination of titanium, chromium,vanadium, calcium and magnesium in iron ores. The method isapplicable to a concentration range of 0.05 to 5 percent oftitanium dioxide, chromium oxide, vanadium pentoxide and 0.01 to 10percent of oxides of calcium and magnesium.
