This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 12844 : 1999`Raw optical glass - Grindability with diamond pellets - Testmethod and classification' issued by the `InternationalOrganization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau ofIndian Standards on the recommendations of the Optical andMathematical Instruments Sectional Committee and approval of theMechanical Engineering Division Council.
