This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 8914 : 1990`Microbiology - General guidance for the detection of Vibrioparahaemolyticus issued by the International Organization forStandardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standardson the recommendation of the Food Microbiology Sectional Committeeand approval of the Food and Agriculture Division Council.
