This Indian Standard which is identical with IEC 60980 : 1989`Recommended practices for seismic qualification of electricalequipment of the safety system for nuclear generating stations'issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), wasadopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation ofNuclear Instrumentation Sectional Committee (LTD 26) and approvalof the Electronics and Telecommunication Division Council.
