1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the requirements and methods of sampling and test of melamine-formaldehyde (MF) resins for the manufacture of items intended to be used in contact with foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals and drinking water.

1.2 This standard does not purport to establish the suitability of the packaging media with particular foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals and drinking water, from other than toxicological considerations.
