This Indian Standard (Part 1) which is identical with ISO 5456-1: 1996 `Technical drawings - Projection methods - Part 1: Synopsisissued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO)was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendationof Drawings Sectional Committee and approval of the Basic andProduction Engineering Division Council.
