IS 1503 : 2023 Wooden Packing Cases - Specification
1 SCOPE
1.1 This standard specifies the requirements of wooden packing cases for general use for packaging of contents of mass up to 250 kg.
1.2 This standard does not cover the requirements of wooden packing cases intended for the packaging of larger and heavier items, such as engines, generating sets, and machinery which are usually mounted on and securely fastened to skid type bases. This standard also does not cover the requirements of wooden packing cases intended for packing military ammunition and explosives.
