This Indian Standard (Part 3) which is identical with ISO 8442-3: 1997 `Materials and articles in contact with foodstuffs - Cutleryand table holloware - Part 3 : Requirements for silver-plated tableand decorative holloware' issued by the International Organizationfor Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of IndianStandards on the recommendations of the Utensils, Cutlery andDomestic Hardware Sectional Committee and approval of theMechanical Engineering Division Council.
