This Indian Standard (Part 6) which is identical with ISO 8442-6 : 2000 `Materials and articles in contact with foodstuffs - Cutlery and table holloware - Part 6 : Lightly silver-plated table holloware protected by lacquer' issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of the Utensils, Cutlery and Domestic Hardware Sectional Committee and approval of the Mechanical Engineering Division Council.
