NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 1) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 11269-1 : 2012 ‘Soil quality - Determination of the effects of pollutants on soil flora - Part 1: Method for the measurement of inhibition of root growth’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Soil Quality and Fertilizers Sectional Committee and approval of the Food and Agriculture Division Council.
