IS 15111 : Part 2 : 2002 Self Ballasted Lamps for General Lighting Services - Part 2 : Performance Requirements

1 Scope

1.1 This standard (Part 2) specifies the performancerequirements together with the test methods and conditions,required to show compliance of tubular fluorescent and other gasdischarge lamps with integrated means for controlling starting andstable operation (self ballasted lamps), intended for domestic andsimilar general lighting purposes having:

a) a rated wattage up to and including 26 W,

b) a rated voltage up to and including 250 V, and

c) Edison screw E 14 and E 27 or bayonet caps B 15d and B 22d.

These performance requirements are additional to the safetyrequirements given in Part 1 of this standard.
