This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 7899-2 : 2000`Water quality - Detection and enumeration of intestinalenterococci - Part 2: Membrane filtration method' issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted bythe Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Drinksand Carbonated Beverages Sectional Committee and approval of theFood and Agriculture Division Council.
