IS 1518 : 1980 Method for gauging of petroleum and liquid petroleum products

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes methods for gauging of volume ofpetroleum and liquid petroleum products in tanks; ships and barges;tank cars and tank trucks; and pipe-lines. It also covers liquifiedpetroleum gases.
