This Indian Standard (Part 1) which is identical with ISO11462-1 : 2001 `Guidelines for implementation of statisticalprocess control (SPC) - Part 1 : Elements of SPC' issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted bythe Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of theStatistical Methods for Quality and Reliability Sectional Committeeand approval of the Management and Systems Division Council.
