This Indian Standard (Part 1) which is identical with ISO10791-1 : 1998 `Test conditions for machining centres - Part 1 :Geometric tests for machines with horizontal spindle and withaccessory heads (horizontal Z-axis) issued by the InternationalOrganization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau ofIndian Standards on the recommendation of the Machine ToolsSectional Committee and approval of the Basic and ProductionEngineering Division Council.
