IS 1527 : 1972 Methods for chemical analysis of high silica refractory materials

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the methods for determination of theloss on ignition and of the oxides of silicon, aluminium, iron,titanium, calcium, magnesium and the alkali metals in high silicamaterials (over 94 percent SiO₂). However thesemethods could be used for similar materials having silica contentof not less than 90 percent.
