IS 15284 : Part 1 : 2003 Design and Construction for Ground Improvement - Guidelines - Part 1 : Stone Columns

1 Scope

This standard (Part 1) covers the design methodology as well asthe construction techniques for installation of stone columnsparticularly for wide spread loads, such as tanks, embankment andfills. The parameters required for design are also included. Thescope is limited to the computation of allowable loads andsettlements for wide spread loads.
