This Indian Standard (Part 1) which is identical with ISO 8486-1: 1996 `Bonded abrasives - Determination and designation of grainsize distribution - Part 1: Macrogrits F4 to F220' issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted bythe Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of theAbrasives Sectional Committee and approval of the Basic andProduction Engineering Division Council.
