This Indian Standard (Part 28) which is identical to ISO 12680-1 : 2005 'Methods of test for refractory products - Part 1: Determination of dynamic Young's modulus (MOE) by impulse excitation of vibration' issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Refractories Sectional Committee and approval of the Metallurgical Engineering Division Council.
