This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 11161 : 1994`Industrial automation systems - Safety of integrated manufacturingsystems - Basic requirements issued by the InternationalOrganization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau ofIndian Standards on the recommendation of the Industrial andProduction Automation Systems Sectional Committee and approval ofthe Basic and Production Engineering Division Council.
