This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 8782-5 : 2000 `Safety,protective and occupational footwear for professional use - Part 5 :Additional requirements and test methods' issued by the InternationalOrganization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of IndianStandards on the recommendations of the Footwear Sectional Committee andapproval of the Chemical Division Council.
