IS 15337 : 2003 Coal Tar Based Anticorrosion Tape for Protection of Underground Mild Steel Pipelines - Specification

1 SCOPE

This standard covers the material and application requirementsfor coal tar based anticorrosion tape for protection of undergroundmild steel pipe lines up to operating temperatures of 50�C. The coal tar shall be produced by high temperaturecarbonization of coal at a temperature of 900�CMin.
