NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Second Revision) which is identical with ISO 6330 : 2021 ‘Textiles - Domestic washing and drying procedures for textile testing’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Chemical Methods of Test Sectional Committee and approval of the Textiles Division Council.

This standard was originally published in 2005 which was identical with ISO 6330 : 2000. The first revision of this standard was undertaken to align it with ISO 6330 : 2012. The second revision of this standard has been undertaken to harmonize it with the latest version of ISO 6330 : 2021.
