NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 5) which is identical with ISO 14253-5 : 2015 ‘Geometrical product specifications (GPS) - Inspection by measurement of workpieces and measuring equipment - Part 5: Uncertainty in verification testing of indicating measuring instruments’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Engineering Metrology Sectional Committee and approval of the Production and General Engineering Division Council.
