This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 4291 : 1985`Methods for the assessment of departure from roundness -Measurement of variations in radius' issued by the InternationalOrganization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau ofIndian Standards on the recommendations of the EngineeringMetrology Sectional Committee and approval of the Basic andProduction Engineering Division Council.
