This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 4292 : 1985`Methods for the assessment of departure from roundness -Measurement by two- and three-point methods issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted bythe Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of theEngineering Metrology Sectional Committee and approval of the Basicand Production Engineering Division Council.
