This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 5830 : 1984`Resistance spot welding - Male electrode caps' issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted bythe Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of theWelding General Sectional Committee and approval of theMetallurgical Engineering Division Council.
