This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 17933 : 2000`GEDI - Generic Electronic Document Interchange issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted bythe Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of theDocumentation and `Information Sectional Committee and approval ofthe Management and Systems Division Council.
