This Indian Standard (Part 5) which is identical with ISO 5725-5: 1998 `Accuracy (trueness and precision) of measurement methodsand results - Part 5: Alternative methods for the determination ofthe precision of a standard measurement method' issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted bythe Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of theEngineering Metrology Sectional Committee and approval of the Basicand Production Engineering Division Council.
