This Indian Standard (Part 1) which is identical with IEC61482-1 : 2002 `Live working - Flame-resistant materials forclothing for thermal protection of workers - Thermal hazards of anelectric arc - Part 1 : Test methods issued by the InternationalElectrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau ofIndian Standards on the recommendations of the Tools and Equipmentfor Live Working Sectional Committee (ET 36) and approval of theElectrotechnical Division Council.
