This Indian Standard (Part 1) which is identical with ISO 13565-1 : 1996`Geometrical Product Specifications (GPS) - Surface texture: Profilemethod; Surfaces having stratified functional properties - Part 1 :Filtering and general measurement conditions issued by the InternationalOrganization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of IndianStandards on the recommendations of the Engineering Metrology SectionalCommittee and approval of the Basic and Production Engineering DivisionCouncil.
