This Indian Standard (Part 2) which is identical with ISO 13565-2 : 1996`Geometrical Product Specifications (GPS) - Surface texture: Profilemethod; Surfaces having stratified functional properties - Part 2: Heightcharacterization using the linear material ratio curve issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by theBureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of the EngineeringMetrology Sectional Committee and approval of the Basic and ProductionEngineering Division Council.
