This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 12085 : 1996 `GeometricalProduct Specification (GPS) - Surface texture : Profile method - Motifparameters issued by the International Organization for Standardization(ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendationsof the Engineering Metrology Sectional Committee and approval of the Basicand Production Engineering Division Council.
