IS 15433 : 2003 Textiles - Method for Determination of Colour Fastness to Pleating - Steam Pleating

1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies a method for determining the resistance of thecolour of textiles of all kinds and in all forms to the action of steampleating processes. The materials are not pleated during the test and itis emphasized that the test is not intended for assessing the quality ofthe pleating process.

1.2 Three tests conditions differing in severity are provided; one or moreof them is used depending on the requirements.
