IS 15558 : 2005 Mini Domestic Water Heater for Use with LPG - Specification

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the requirements for instaneous andcontinuous production of hot water for domestic use, of nominaluseful less than 25 kW (based on gross calorific value), for usewith liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) at a working pressure of 2.942kN/m² (30 gf/cm²). It is an inletwater controlled appliance. It specifies the main constructionaland performance characteristics for the instantaneous domesticwater heater. It also sets the appropriate test methods forevaluating test characteristics. Appliances for boiling water arenot covered in this standard.
