NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Second Revision) which is identical with IEC 61938 : 2018 ‘Multimedia systems - Guide to the recommended characteristics of analogue Interfaces to achieve interoperability (GMT)’ issued by International Electro technical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of the Audio, Video and Multimedia Systems and Equipment Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.

This Standard was originally published in 2005 and was identical to IEC 61938 : 1996. The first revision of this standard was published in 2015 and was identical to IEC 61938: 2013. The second revision aligns this Indian Standard with IEC 61938:2018
