This Indian Standard (Part 3) which is identical with ISO 9974-3 : 1996`Connections for general use and fluid power - Ports and stud ends withISO 261 threads with elastomeric metal-to-metal sealing - Part 3 : Studends with metal-to-metal sealing (type B)' issued by the InternationalOrganization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of IndianStandards on the recommendations of the Fluid Power Fittings, Hoses andHose Assemblies Sectional Committee and approval of the MedicalInstruments, General and Production Engineering Division Council.
