NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 10) which is identical with IEC 60268-10 : 1991 ‘Sound system equipment - Part 10: Peak programme level meters’, issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Audio, Video and Multimedia Systems and Equipment Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.
