This Indian Standard ( Part 2 ) which is identical with ISO 13563-2 : 2001 ?Single side loading fork-lift trucks - Part 2: Additional stability tests for trucks handling freight containers of 6 m length andabove? issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of the Transport Tractors, Trailers and Industrial Trucks SectionalCommittee and approval of the Transport Engineering Division Council.

The text of ISO Standard has been approved as suitable for publication as an Indian Standard without deviations. Certain conventions are, however, not identical to those used in Indian Standards. Attentionis drawn especially to the following:

a) Wherever the words ?International Standard? appear, referring to this standard, they should be read as ?Indian Standard?.

b) Comma ( . ) has been used as a decimal marker while in Indian Standards, the current.practiceis to use a full point ( . ) as the decimal marker.
