This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 7434:1983 ‘Slotted set screws with cone point’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization ( ISO ) -was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of the Bolts, Nuts and Fasteners Accessories Sectional Committee and approval of the Medical Instruments, General and Production Engineering Division Council.
