1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the recommendations relating to primaryelements in the design of library buildings.

1.2 This standard does not provide recommendations for the typesof libraries for special classes of users, such as, library for theblind, field library (military), etc, for which requirements willhave to be separately worked out.
