1. SCOPE

This standard specifies the general, dimensional and performance requirements of new diagonal and radial ply pneumatic tyres designed primarily for vehicles in categories M1, T1 and T2. However, it does not apply to run flat tyres, and tyres designed for:

a) the equipment of vintage cars, and

b) competitions (racings).
