NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 2) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 10360-2 : 2009 ‘Geometrical product specifications (GPS) - Acceptance and reverification tests for coordinate measuring machines (CMM) - Part 2: CMMs used for measuring linear dimensions’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of Engineering Metrology Sectional Committee and approval of the Production and General Engineering Division Council.

This standard was first published in 2006. This revision has been taken up to harmonize with latest version of ISO 10360-2.
