IS 15669 : 2006 /ISO 10695 : 2000 Water Quality - Determination of Selected Organic Nitrogen and Phosphorus Compounds - Gas Chromatographic Method

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 10695 : 2000 Water quality - Determination of selectedorganic nitrogen and phosphorus compounds - Gas chromatographic methods issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards onthe recommendation of the Pesidicides and Pesticides Residue Analysis Sectional Committee andapproval of the Food and Agriculture Division Council.

The text of the ISO Standard has been approved as suitable for publication as an Indian Standardwithout deviations. Certain conventions are, however, not identical to those used in Indian Standards.Attention is particularly drawn to the following:

a) Wherever the words International Standard appear referring to this standard, they shouldbe read as Indian Standard.

b) Comma (,) has been used as a decimal marker while in Indian Standards, the currentpractice is to use a point (.) as the decimal marker.

In reporting the results of a test or analysis made in accordance with this standard, if the final value,observed or calculated, is to be rounded off, it shall be done in accordance with IS 2:1960 Rules forrounding off numerical values (revised).
