IS 1573 : 1986 Specification for Electroplated Coatings of Zinc on Iron and Steel

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers requirements for electrodeposited zinccoatings applied to iron or steel articles except for coatingsapplied to components having threads of basic major diameter from1.25 to 12.5 mm and coatings applied to sheet or wire in theunfabricated form or to close-coiled springs.
