1 Scope

1.1 This standard describes the method ofmeasurement of deflection of the straight sidedmechanical presses.

1.2 This standard specifies the standard permissibledeflection of straight sided mechanical presses as wellas alternative optional permissible deflection.

1.3 This standard does not cover the special purposepresses such as horizontal presses, traveling framepresses. presses without slide guides and forgingpresses.
