IS 15765 : 2008 Mehtod of Sapmling Ferro Alloys for Sieve Analysis and Size Determination

1 Scope

This standard lays down the procedure to be followed for collection andpreparation of samples representing a lot of ferro alloys, namely, ferromanganese, ferro chrome, ferro silicon, silico-manganese, etc, in bulk orin packed form for sieve analysis and size determination.

Note - For the purpose of sampling the ferro alloys according to size maybe divided into two groups, that is, lump form and crushed form.
