1. SCOPE

This standard prescribes requirements and the methods of sampling and tests for heating oil (LDO) for use in industrial applications for heating purposes (boilers, heaters and furnaces) and as a start-up fuel in power plants etc.

This fuel is not meant for internal combustion engines.
