1. SCOPE

This standard prescribes:

a) An assessment of the evaluative requirements applicable for qualifying minimum performance criteria of the combine harvesters,

b) Tolerances on the values declared by the manufacturer, and in certain cases minimum/ maximum values of the performance characteristics, and statutory requirements under the relevant Act(s) of the combine harvesters,

c) The criteria for determining variants and new model of combine harvesters for the purpose of testing and certification,

d) Definitions of some of the terms commonly used in relation to testing of combine harvester, and

e) Minimum performance criteria for testing of Straw Management System (SMS) if fitted is also given.
